Prereleases provide an excellent way to experience the grandeur of a worldwide event in a low-stress environment. At Prerelease events, you will be able to play with cards from the new set before you can buy them, receive special promotional cards for attending, and have the opportunity to win even more cards by playing. So have fun!

Please arrive with plenty of time to register (1-1:30pm)

Main Event

Format

  • Limited - Sealed Deck (Mirroring The Seattle-Tacoma Grand Prix Format)
  • Each Player will receive Three (3) packs of Dark Ascension & Three (3) packs of Innistrad.

Format Description:

  • Main decks must contain a minimum of forty cards. There is no maximum deck size.
  • Players are not restricted to four of any one card in Limited tournament play.
  • Any opened cards not used in a player's Main Deck function as his or her sideboard. The sideboard may not be kept where it could be confused or switched with other cards.
  • Deck lists are required.
  • The Tournament will use Swiss Pairings.

Prizes*

  • Winner of the Tournament will earn three byes for the Seattle-Tacoma Grand Prix taking place in Tacoma, Washington on March 3rd and 4th at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.
  • The winner will also earn a ride with Your Go Games to Tacoma departing March 2nd and returning after the Grand Prix March 4th*.
  • In addition to the Grand Prix byes, additional prizes will be awarded to top players dependent on the number of players.

Have an itching to play some multiplayer magic? Do you have 99 problems but a commander isn't one of them? Find that 20 life isn't enough?

Magic the Gathering's hottest format is Commander. That makes Sunday afternoons at Your Go! Games the hottest day of the week!... metaphorically speaking.... if we're talking about Magic....

"Sunday Afternoon Commander" at Your Go! Games is much like "Friday Night Magic". For every player, and entry fee ($3) is placed into the prize pool. Then players battle it out for a chance at a portion of the collective prize. However, this is a multiplayer format (details on the Commander format below) and matches occur in (approximately) 3-4 player free for alls.

Construct your Commander deck within the rules posted at mtgcommander.net and respecting Your Go! Games' additional card restrictions (to make it a little more fair and fun for everyone involved). Then come play every Sunday for your portion of prizes and all the glory.
